THIS JULY I’M CHASING MY UNCOMFORTABLE BY RUNNING 5KM EACH DAY.

This July, I am taking part in The Uncomfortable Challenge by committing to run 5 kilometres every day in the month of July. While 5km may seem achievable to some, it is a challenge that pushes me outside of my comfort zone both physically and mentally. The Uncomfortable Challenge is all about embracing discomfort, challenging ourselves to grow, and starting important conversations around mental health. Throughout the month, I'll be stepping up, staying accountable, and pushing through the moments when it would be easier to quit. Every kilometre I run is in support of mental health awareness and raising funds for programs that help people who may be struggling. Mental health affects so many people in our community, and by taking on this challenge, I hope to not only challenge myself but also contribute to a cause that makes a real difference. Having faced my own mental health challenges, I know how overwhelming and isolating they can feel, but I've also learned that with support, persistence, and taking things one step at a time, it is possible to push through difficult periods and come out stronger on the other side. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this message, would mean so much and help create a positive impact for those who need it most.
